He is not interested in politics himself and tries to keep his brother away from it too. Under unlikely circumstances, Tom\u00e1\u0161 is recruited as a technician for the pro-democracy Foreign Broadcasting Department of the Czechoslovak Radio, which is gaining more and more influence, and Tom\u00e1\u0161 becomes involved in a dangerous situation. The film looks at the small community born inside the broadcasting studios, which, through the microphone, changed society and lit up a country previously so grey, sad, and fearful.
