Widowed Zdena lives a relatively peaceful life as a postwoman in the village. But it is definitely not easy. Her house is falling apart and she deals with her loneliness by eating cucumbers and watching TV. Her greatest joy is her son Luk\u00e1\u0161. However, he lives in France, where he has reportedly found happiness and a great job. They only keep in touch through an old computer screen. To make matters worse, Zdena’s mother V\u011bra is dying in the hospital and her last wish is to see Czech singer Helena Vondr\u00e1\u010dkov\u00e1. Zdena begs her son to come and say goodbye to her grandmother before it is too late.
