\"\"The 14th edition of the Cinema at the Border<\/a> film showcase, taking place in \u010cesk\u00fd T\u011b\u0161\u00edn and Cieszyn at the Czech-Polish border, April 28 – May 3, 2012, will honour Slovak film director \u0160tefan Uher.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The retrospective section dedicated to this director will screen his most significant films: She Kept Crying For the Moon<\/a><\/em><\/strong>, The Mowing of the Hawk Meadow<\/a><\/em><\/strong>, If I Had a Gun<\/a><\/em><\/strong>, Genius<\/a><\/em><\/strong>, The Organ<\/a><\/em><\/strong>, The Wonder-Maid<\/a><\/em><\/strong>, The Sun in a Net<\/a><\/em><\/strong>, Curator of the Open-Air Museum<\/a><\/em><\/strong> and Three Daughters<\/a><\/em><\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The section dedicated to Central European crime and gangster films will present the archive\u00a0Death Comes in Rain<\/a><\/em><\/strong> (dir. Andrej Lettrich) and In the Morning Fog<\/a><\/em><\/strong> (r. J\u00e1n Zeman).<\/p>\n

The Borders and the Walls of the World will be pull down by Slovak films Gypsy<\/a> <\/em><\/strong>(dir. Martin \u0160ul\u00edk), Pink Dreams<\/a><\/em><\/strong> (dir. Du\u0161an Han\u00e1k), The Children of the Wind <\/em><\/strong>(dir. Martin Slivka) a\u00a0About So\u0148a and Her Family<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0(dir. Daniela Rusnokov\u00e1).<\/p>\n

The soccer season will be represented by the archive Socces Fans<\/a><\/em><\/strong> (dir. J\u00e1n Lacko).<\/p>\n

The showcase will represent new\u00a0Slovak\u00a0titles, too\u00a0– the successful The House<\/em><\/strong> <\/a>(dir. Zuzana Liov\u00e1), Apricot Island<\/a> <\/em><\/strong>(dir. Peter Bebjak), Lidice<\/a> <\/em><\/strong>(dir. Petr Nikolaev), L\u00f3ve<\/a><\/em><\/strong> (dir. Jakub Kroner), Nicky’s Family<\/a> <\/em><\/strong>(dir. Matej Min\u00e1\u010d), Alois Nebel<\/em><\/strong><\/a> (dir. Tom\u00e1\u0161 Lu\u0148\u00e1k), Visible World<\/em><\/strong><\/a> (dir. Peter Kri\u0161t\u00fafek) and\u00a0the shorts Pygmies – The Children of the Jungle<\/a><\/strong><\/em> and Trou de fer<\/em><\/strong> (dir. Pavol Barab\u00e1\u0161), The Last Bus<\/a> <\/em><\/strong>(dir. Ivana Lau\u010d\u00edkov\u00e1 a Martin Snopek), Dust and Glitter <\/em><\/strong>(dir. Michaela \u010cop\u00edkov\u00e1) and Blue Red<\/em><\/strong> (dir. Daniela Kraj\u010dov\u00e1).<\/p>\n

The co-production forum Meeting at the Border<\/a>\u00a0will be held within the framework of the event\u00a030. 4. – 2. 5. 2012.<\/strong> The Slovak project by Mira Fornay My Dog Killer<\/em><\/strong><\/a>\u00a0will be presented by Juraj Buzalka.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n
