Slovak<\/strong> films continue in their success, which they achieved in a number of significant film festivals.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Slovak successful animated film The Last Bus<\/a><\/strong><\/em> won awards, not just at one, but at two festivals: at the end of March at the International Film Festival New Vision 2012<\/a> for Best Short Film and at the Art Film Fest<\/a>, held on 16. \u2013 23. 6. 2012, the film won the Film Europe Award.<\/p>\n

Another successful film was the film from directors Peter Oukropca and Bohdan Slama The Blue Tiger<\/em><\/a><\/strong>, which won the Audience Award at the International Film Festival in Kristiansand<\/a> at the end of April. This film continued in its success at the Film Festival in Zlin<\/a> (27. 5. \u2013 3. 6. 2012) as well, where it received The Town of Zl\u00edn Award \u2013 Special Recognition for a Feature Film for Children.<\/p>\n

At the end of May, was at the Vertical International Film Festival in Moscow<\/a> awarded the film Trou de Fer<\/a><\/em><\/strong> from director Pavol Barabas as the Best Adventure Film.<\/p>\n

The Slovak animation films tWINS<\/em><\/strong> and Who’s There?<\/em><\/strong> were awarded at the Croatian Animafest<\/a> at the end of May as well.<\/p>\n

One of the recent success was achieved by a documentary film Nicky’s family<\/a><\/em><\/strong>, which won at the Film Festival MakeDox<\/a> in Macedonia (15. – 22. 6. 2012) the Children’s Jury Award.<\/p>\n
