\"\"The international scriptwriting workshop aimed at supporting talents and developing the European scriptwriting and script editing MIDPOINT<\/span><\/u>,<\/a> organized for the third time by the Prague Film School FAMU, announced its winners: besides the Polish\u00a0short film project The Seventh<\/em>, the Slovak project Rubicon <\/em>was awarded as the best feature project.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Rubicon<\/em><\/strong> is a screenplay of a Slovak scriptwriter Ane\u017eka Guziarov\u00e1, who is studying the film school in Potsdam and the producer Veronika \u010cechov\u00e1, a student of V\u0160MU in Bratislava. Their film is a story of a fragile friendship between Hana and J\u00falia, two young girls, who meet each other in Berlin\u00a0after a five-year separationj, to find a way to eachother and themselves.<\/p>\n

Six European film schools participated at the third edition of the event \u2013 Prague’s FAMU<\/a>, Bratislava’s V\u0160MU<\/a>, PWSFTviT<\/a> in Lodz, SZFE<\/a> in Budapest, UNATC<\/a> in Bukarest and Berlin’s dffb<\/a> as a new addition. The first part of the workshop took place in Slovakia within the\u00a0Art Film Fest IFF<\/a> in Tren\u010dianske Teplice in June 2012, the second part took place in Czech republic at the end of August.<\/p>\n

Slovak projects participated and were awarded at MIDPOINT in the past: the short film project Momo<\/em><\/strong> of director and scriptwriter Teodor Kuhn and producer Jakub Viktor\u00edn was awarded last year and in 2010 it was Take-Off<\/em><\/strong>, the feature project of scriptwriter Barbora Hr\u00ednov\u00e1 and producer Barbora Hessov\u00e1.<\/p>\n
