Slovak films continue with their success abroad, where they were awarded with two prizes.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Very succesful film Nicky’s family<\/em><\/strong>, directed by Matej Min\u00e1\u010d, won the prize for Best using archives in a film. It was awarded by The International Federation of Television Archives. Sir Nicholas Winton, the main protagonist of the document, also attended the ceremony, which took place in London. The film has won several prizes, one of them being the Audience Award from Karlovy Vary.<\/p>\n

Another winning film is a movie directed by Zuzana Liov\u00e1, The House<\/em><\/strong>. It was awarded by The Special Jury Mention at the 4th edition of the Kosovian festival PriFilmFest. The film has previously won prizes in Palm Springs and Treste and in Prishtina it also appeared in the main competition of the festival.<\/p>\n
