The screening opened a film series entitled The Golden 60s of Czechoslovak Cinema which was prepared by the Embassies of the Slovak Republic and the Czech Republic in the United States.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Four films will be available for viewers within this project: after already screened <strong><em>The Sun in a Net<\/em><\/strong>, the American public can attend the following films: the Oscar winning <a href=\"https:\/\/sfu.sk\/eshop\/dvd\/obchod-na-korze\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong><em>The Shop on Main Street<\/em><\/strong><\/a> by directors J\u00e1n Kad\u00e1r and Elmar Klos,1965 (screening February 28, 2013, the Czech Embassy), <a href=\"https:\/\/sfu.sk\/eshop\/dvd\/slavnost-v-botanickej-zahrade\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong><em>Celebration ion the Botanical Garden<\/em><\/strong><\/a> by director Elo Havetta, 1969 (screening March 21, 2013, the Slovak Embassy), and <a href=\"https:\/\/sfu.sk\/eshop\/blu-ray\/blu-ray-spalovac-mrtvol\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong><em>The Cremator<\/em><\/strong><\/a> by director Juraj Herz, 1969 (screening March 28, 2013, the Czech Embassy).<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">The screenings of Czechoslovak films at the Embassy of Slovak Republic will continue throughout 2013: in April, a film festival of Visegrad countries (V4) dedicated to censored films entitled Banned!
