Two slovak feature debuts, M\u00e1ty\u00e1s Prikler&#8217;s <em><a href=\"https:\/\/sfu.sk\/eshop\/dvd\/dakujem-dobre\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Fine, Thanks<\/a><\/em> (2013),also presented to the audience at IFF Rotterdam 2013, and Juraj Lehotsk\u00fd&#8217;s <em><a href=\"https:\/\/sfu.sk\/eshop\/dvd\/zazrak\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Miracle<\/a> <\/em>(2013) recently premiered in the slovak cinemas, will take a part in competition for the Golden Debut Award.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The\u00a0Last Season Hits\u00a0section will present six slovak films and films in slovak cooproduction:<br>Mira Fornay&#8217;s\u00a0<em><strong>My Dog Killer<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0(2013) awarded by Hivos Tiger in IFF Rotterdam, Mariana \u010cengel Sol\u010dansk\u00e1&#8217;s drama\u00a0<em><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/sfu.sk\/eshop\/dvd\/miluj-ma-alebo-odid\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Love me or Leave me<\/a><\/strong><\/em>\u00a0(2013) and low budget horror movie\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/sfu.sk\/eshop\/dvd\/zlo\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><em><strong>Evil<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0<\/a>(2012) of director Peter Bebjak will be seen on the festival screens.<br>The audience will be able to watch also Slovak co-production film\u00a0<em><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/sfu.sk\/eshop\/dvd\/libanky\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Honeymoon<\/a><\/strong><\/em>\u00a0(2013) of Jan H\u0159ebejk, who has recieved the award for the best direction at IFF Karlove Vary, Zden\u011bk Tyc&#8217;s\u00a0<em><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/sfu.sk\/eshop\/dvd\/jako-nikdy\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Like Never Before<\/a><\/strong><\/em>\u00a0(2013) and\u00a0<em><strong>Aftermath<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0(2013) of Wladislaw Pasikowski.<br>Jury consists of seven members, who will vote and decide about the winner after all. Slovakia is represented by Ondrej \u0160ulaj, the president of\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.sfta.sk\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Slovak Film and Television Academy (SFTA)<\/a>\u00a0and Peter Dubeck\u00fd, the general manager of\u00a0the Slovak Film Institute (SFI).<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>On Wednesday, October 9, the 21st showcase of czech, polish and slovak films starts in czech Hr\u010dava and will last until October 13.
