Martin \u0160ul\u00edk, who is considered one of the most outstanding film directors from Slovakia, will be a special guest to the 11th edition of Tofifest 2013 (October 21 \u2013 27, 2013)<\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n

During the film festival in Torun, the audience will have an opportunity to see the following films by \u0160ul\u00edk: Working Class Heroes<\/strong><\/em> (2005) awarded by the Sun in a Net Award, the famous Gypsy <\/strong><\/em>(2012) which brought him the following awards, at the Karlovy Vary IFF: Special Prize of the Jury, Honorary Mention of the Actor, Don Quijote Award, and the Europa Cinemas Label, Landscape<\/em><\/strong> (2000), The Garden<\/em><\/strong> (1995) awarded a Special Prize of the Jury in Karlove Vary IFF, Everything I Like<\/em><\/strong> (1992), and Orbis Pictus<\/em><\/strong> (1997).<\/p>\n

The Slovakian director will also conduct his own Masterclass “about his inspirations, thoughts and plans with the film directing. Lecture based on the shooting of Gypsy film.<\/em>”<\/p>\n

The section Shortcut brings to the audience Slovak animated The Pandas<\/em><\/strong> (2013) by Mat\u00fa\u0161 Viz\u00e1r. The Pandas<\/em><\/strong> has received multiple awards, the last one is the Grand Prix for the Best Short Film at the IFF Warsawa 2013.<\/p>\n
