Slovak\u00a0cinema has strong presence\u00a0at the 34th edition\u00a0of Noordelijk Film Festival<\/a> in Dutch city of Leeuwarden (November 6 \u2013 10, 2013).<\/strong><\/p>\n

Seven Slovak films are shown in the programme of one of the largest regional film festivals\u00a0in The Netherlands and one of biggest cultural events in the north of the country.<\/p>\n

The Fokus section consists of both classics and contemporary films: The Sun in a Net<\/strong><\/em><\/a> (1962) by \u0160tefan Uher, one of the greatest classics of Slovak cinema, will be introduced also in connection of the 50th anniversary of the Slovak Film Institute. The Garden<\/strong><\/em><\/a> (1995) by Martin \u0160ul\u00edk, the most famous Slovak films from 1990s will be shown in the company of Gypsy<\/strong><\/em> (2012), the director\u2019s latest work; further films in the collection include: Made in Ash<\/em><\/strong> (2012) by Iveta Gr\u00f3fov\u00e1 and short animation film Snow<\/em><\/strong> (2013)<\/em> by Ivana \u0160ebestov\u00e1. Last but not least, Zuzana Liov\u00e1 will present her debut feature The House<\/em><\/strong> (2011).<\/p>\n
