The award for Outstanding Contribution in Cinema is a joint initiative of Sofia Municipality and Sofia International Film Festival.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><em>322<\/em><\/strong> (1969),\u00a0Du\u0161an Han\u00e1k\u00b4s\u00a0feature fiction\u00a0debut,\u00a0will open the Czechoslovak New Wave. 1969. The Forbidden Films section. This section was prepared in cooperation with the Slovak Film Institute. Twenty-seven laureats from the international cinema were honoured with this prestigious award.<\/p>\n<p>The Czechoslovak New Wave. 1969. The Forbidden Films section will also present further classics of this era \u2013 <em><strong>Birds, Orphans and Fools<\/strong><\/em> (1969) by Juraj Jakubisko, <span style=\"font-style: italic\"><strong>Celebration in the Botanical Garden<\/strong> <\/span>(1969) by Elo Havetta and the<strong><em>\u00a0<\/em><\/strong>documentary <strong><em>25 from the Sixties or the Czechoslovak New Wave I.,II.<\/em><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"font-style: italic\">\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/strong>(2010) by Martin \u0160ul\u00edk, personally introduced by the director.<\/p>\n<p>The Documentary Competition\u00a0will present\u00a0<strong><em>Velvet Terrorists<\/em><\/strong> (2013) by\u00a0Palo Pekar\u010d\u00edk, Ivan Ostrochovsk\u00fd and Peter Kerekes.\u00a0Ivan Ostrochovsk\u00fd will introduce the movie personally. The Grand Prizes section will represent \u00a0last year&#8217;s winner\u00a0from Rotterdam\u00a0<strong><em>My\u00a0Dog Killer<\/em><\/strong> (2013) by Mira Fornay. She will also introduce her new project called <em><strong>Cook, F..k, Kill (Women With No Tongues)<\/strong><\/em><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">\u00a0<\/span>at the co-production forum\u00a0Sofia Meetings.<\/p>\n<p>Czechoslovak New Wave 1969.
