The Slovak Film Week\u00a0in Moscow will run June 25 \u2013 28, 2014 and will introduce six feature and four short Slovak films, some of them presented by their authors.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The showcase will present feature, documentary and animation films, which were produced in the last three years. The event will be opened with the successful documentary by Matej Min\u00e1\u010d <a href=\"https:\/\/sfu.sk\/eshop\/dvd\/nickyho-rodina\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><em><strong>Nicky&#8217;s Family<\/strong><\/em><\/a> (2011), personally introduced by its producer Patrik Pa\u0161\u0161.<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">Director Jon\u00e1\u0161 Kar\u00e1sek will also present his film, debut feature <a href=\"https:\/\/sfu.sk\/eshop\/dvd\/kandidat\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><em><strong>The Candidate <\/strong><\/em><\/a>(2013), a Slovak\u00a0box office hit of the last\u00a0year. Further films within the showcase are <a href=\"https:\/\/sfu.sk\/eshop\/dvd\/miluj-ma-alebo-odid\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><em><strong>Love Me or Leave Me<\/strong><\/em><\/a> (2013) by Mariana \u010cengel Sol\u010dansk\u00e1, <strong><em>Indian Summer<\/em><\/strong> (2013) by Gejza Dezorz,\u00a0<em><strong>In the Shadow<\/strong><\/em> (2012) by\u00a0David Ond\u0159\u00ed\u010dek and documentary\u00a0<em><strong>The Gypsy Vote<\/strong><\/em> (2012) by Jaro Vojtek. The short films <strong><em>Moon<\/em><\/strong> (2012) by Ondrej Rudavsk\u00fd, <strong><em>Pandas<\/em><\/strong> (2013) by Mat\u00fa\u0161 Viz\u00e1r, <em><strong>Snow<\/strong> <\/em>(2013) by Ivana \u0160ebestov\u00e1 and\u00a0<em><strong>Momo<\/strong><\/em> (2012) by\u00a0Teodor Kuhn, will be presented in a special collection.<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">The showcase is organized upon the bilateral treaty between the Slovak Republic and the Russian Federation. Its organizers are the NOY Film Company with the support of the <a href=\"http:\/\/mkrf.ru\/en\/ministerstvo\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.culture.gov.sk\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Ministry of Culutre of the Slovak Republic<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mzv.sk\/moskva\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Embassy of the Slovak Republic in Moscow<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mzv.sk\/simoskva\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Slovak Institute in Moscow<\/a> and the\u00a0Slovak Film Institute.
