The festival, reaching adulthood this year and celebrating its 18th edition, offers its visitors three other sub-festivals besides the main programme. The three sub-events are focused on student films, animation films and films for children and youth.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Within the main festival, the Off the Wall section will screen two co-production titles. The section, which records the perception of the contemporary world of authors that experienced their childhood behind the Iron Curtain under the Soviet influence, 25 years after the fall of the Berlin Wall, includes <a href=\"https:\/\/sfu.sk\/eshop\/dvd\/fair-play\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong><span style=\"font-style: italic\">Fair Play<\/span><\/strong><\/a> (dir. Andrea Sedl\u00e1\u010dkov\u00e1, 2014), introduced in Karlovy Vary in its international premiere and <strong><span style=\"font-style: italic\">Mirage <\/span><\/strong>(dir. Szabolcs Hajdu, 2014), which started its festival career at Toronto IFF.<\/p>\n<p>The sub-festival dedicated to animation films, 16. Animated Dreams (November 19 \u2013 23, 2014), will screen both new and archive Slovak shorts. The Best of Student Animation section will present <strong><span style=\"font-style: italic\">In Line<\/span><\/strong> (2014) by Kamila Ku\u010d\u00edkov\u00e1 and the retrospective section Slovak Animation will screen a collection of archive animation films by Viktor Kubal, Jaroslava Havettov\u00e1, Vlastimil Herold, Ivan Popovi\u010d, Dagmar Bu\u010danov\u00e1, Helena Slav\u00edkov\u00e1-Rabarov\u00e1, Ondrej Slivka and Franti\u0161ek Juri\u0161i\u010d. The <a href=\"http:\/\/www.festanca.sk\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Fest An\u010da festival<\/a>&#8216;s programming director Maro\u0161 Brojo is part of the Jury.<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"http:\/\/be.poff.ee\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Baltic Event <\/a>co-production market will host a Slovak-Czech project by Aramisova \u2013 <strong><span style=\"font-style: italic\">Kids from the East<\/span><\/strong>. The project was awarded at a similar event last week in Thessaloniki \u2013 Crossroads.
