The selection of restored and digitalised films consists of avant-garde films from 1920ties and 1930ties\u00a0(<em><strong>Earth <\/strong><\/em><em>\u2013 <\/em>r. Olexandr Dov\u017eenko<strong>, <\/strong><em><strong>Symphony of the Donbass <\/strong><\/em>\u2013 r. Dziga Vertov), romantic drama from the future (<strong><em>Strict Young Man<\/em><\/strong> \u2013 dir. Abram Room), famous war film based on the screenplay by Vanda Vasiljevska (<strong><em>Rainbow<\/em><\/strong> \u2013 dirr. Mark Domskoj) and more remarkable films from following decades.<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">Showcase Ukrainian Film Classics will be followed by <a href=\"http:\/\/www.artfilmfest.sk\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Art Film Fest 2015<\/a> programme section <em>F<\/em>ocus: Ukraine\u00a0presenting the contemporary Ukrainian cinema.<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">The event is organized upon the intergovernmental cultural agreements between the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.culture.gov.sk\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Ministry of Culture of the Slovak Republic<\/a> and the<a href=\"http:\/\/www.tourism.gov.ua\/ua\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">\u00a0Ministry of Culture and Tourism\u00a0of the Ukraine<\/a>. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.sfu.sk\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Slovak Film Institute<\/a>\u00a0organizes this showcase\u00a0in cooperation with <a href=\"http:\/\/www.dovzhenkocentre.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Oleksandr Dovzhenko National Centre<\/a>, Ukrainian State Film Agency, the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/slovakia.mfa.gov.ua\/ua\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Embassy of Ukraine\u00a0in the Slovak Republic<\/a>,\u00a0and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.culture.gov.sk\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Ministry of Culture of Slovak Republic<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Programme:<\/p>\n<p>15.06. 18:00\u00a0<em><strong>Earth <\/strong><\/em>(dir.
