International Animation Festival Fest An\u010da takes place from June 24 to 28 2015 in \u017dilina. In its 8th edition the festival introduces the selection of the best animation films from all around the world with special focus on the estonian animation.<\/strong><\/p>\n

In the competiton and side-bar sections are\u00a0also\u00a0included\u00a0the best Slovak animation films. As well as, the festival is continuing with the Industry platform for professional animation filmmakers, which was successfully\u00a0launched last year.<\/p>\n

In the International Competition of Short Films 33 titles are competing among them also the Slovak film Nina <\/em><\/strong><\/a>(dir. Veronika Obertov\u00e1, Michaela \u010cop\u00edkov\u00e1).<\/p>\n

Competition screening: Competition of Slovak Films, Stanica \u017dilina Z\u00e1rie\u010die, s\u00e1la 2, 27. 6. 2015, 15:45<\/p>\n

The Slovak films are gonig to compete for An\u010da Slovak Award and also for the An\u010da D Award \u2013 the distribution trophy awarded in collaboration with Film Europe Media Company<\/a>. The An\u010da D Award winner will be screened in Slovak cinemas before a feature film distributed by Film Europe and will be broadcasting at Film Europe Channel. The director of the last year\u00b4s\u00a0 An\u010da D Award winner Veronika Kocourkov\u00e1 will introduce herself as the author of the book Superkomix in the exhibition during the festival.<\/p>\n

Into the programme are also included feature Slovak and coproduction titles: Lokalfimis<\/em><\/strong><\/a> (dir. Jakub Kroner), The Little Man<\/em><\/strong><\/a> (dir. Radek Beran), Little from the Fish Shop<\/em><\/strong> (dir. J\u00e1n Balej). And in the section The best of BAB 2014\u00a0the visitors will have opportunity to see shorts Mimi a L\u00edza: Zbohom, farba siv\u00e1<\/em><\/strong> (dir. Katar\u00edna Kerekesov\u00e1) a Rosso Papavero <\/em><\/strong><\/a>(dir. Martin Smatana).<\/p>\n

Fest An\u010da offers the overview of Czechoslovak bed-time stories that were either produced by Czechoslovak Television studios in Bratislava and Ko\u0161ice, or ordered from Czech producers. In the scope of a half-century tradition of the production of bed-time stories, the 1980s have an important place. Among the varied selection of directors who explored the world of children\u2019s fantasy, we can find legends of Slovak animated movies like Viktor Kubal, Ivan Popovi\u010d, Franti\u0161ek Juri\u0161i\u010d and Rudolf Urc. The titles included in this section can by find in SK_Section.<\/p>\n
