\"\"The 22nd edition of the European Film Festival Pali\u0107<\/a> will take place on June 18 \u2013 25 2015 in Pali\u0107, Serbia.<\/strong><\/p>\n

A week before the opening,\u00a0the European film classics will be screened within the Classics on the Square\u00a0section at one of the most beautiful town squares\u00a0in Serbia. Among names such as Mikl\u00f3s Jancs\u00f3, Roy Andersson or Pier Paolo Pasolini also Slovak filmmaker Peter Solan will\u00a0appear with his masterpiece Before Tonight Is Over<\/em><\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n

This year\u00b4s festival line-up is enriched with a number of Slovak films. The successful Koza<\/em><\/strong><\/a> by Ivan Ostrochovsk\u00fd is competing in the Official Selection.
\nParallels and Encounters is hosting\u00a0the co-production modern western Mirage<\/strong> <\/em>(dir. Szabolcs Hajdu). The Young Spirit of Europe section is dedicated to recently deceased Slovak young and talented filmmaker Aramisova. Within the section his last film What We Did Before We Drank Cocoa Together<\/em> <\/strong>will be screened.

\nFive further films will\u00a0be introduced in a section dedicated contemporary Slovak cinema entitled\u00a0<\/strong>New Slovak Films: Miracle <\/strong><\/a><\/em>(dir. Juraj Lehotsk\u00fd), Velvet Terrorists<\/strong><\/em> (dir. Pavol Pekar\u010d\u00edk, Ivan Ostrochovsk\u00fd, Peter Kerekes), C<\/strong><\/em>omeback<\/em><\/strong><\/a> (dir. Miro Remo), Children <\/em><\/strong><\/a>(dir. Jaro Vojtek) and Made in Ash<\/strong><\/em> (dir. Iveta Gr\u00f3fov\u00e1).<\/p>\n

Miro Remo, Peter Kerekes and Ivan Ostrochovsk\u00fd will be introducing\u00a0their films and Slovak director Mira Fornay is this year\u00b4s jury member.<\/p>\n

Visitors of the festival in Pali\u0107 can also enjoyed Slovak films in the photography exhibition Best of Best of Slovak Films. The selection of the photographs is focused on the best Slovak cinematography films from the years 1962-1972. The collection is based upon the publication Best Of Slovak Film<\/em> (Peter Hames, SF\u00da, 2013) and the Slovak Film Institute’s Golden Fund of Slovak Cinematography<\/em> dvd edition.<\/p>\n

Slovak presentation at the festival is organised by the European Film Festival Pali\u0107<\/a> in the co-operation with Slovak Film Institute and the Slovak Embassy in Beograd<\/a>.<\/p>\n
