Three fiction-debuts by Slovak documentary filmmakers will be screened at the festival held on November 6 \u2013 15, 2015.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/sfu.sk\/eshop\/dvd\/eva-nova\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong><em>Eva Nov\u00e1<\/em><\/strong><\/a> by Marko \u0160kop will vie with another 14 films in the International Competion. In the FIPRESCI-awarded Toronto entry \u0160kop draws a sensitively realized portrait and, through it, touches upon issues such as the passing of time, family bonds, second chances and the power of forgiveness. The film will be personally introduced by the director Marko \u0160kop and the\u00a0leading actress\u00a0Em\u00edlia V\u00e1\u0161aryov\u00e1.<\/p>\n<p>The sidebar Open Horizons will present another two Slovak films: Ivan Ostrochovsk\u00fd\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/sfu.sk\/en\/films\/koza\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong><em>Koza<\/em><\/strong><\/a> and Jaro Vojtek\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/sfu.sk\/eshop\/dvd\/deti\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong><em>Children<\/em><\/strong><\/a>. According to the Festival statement the filmmakers featured in the Open Horizons\u00a0selection experiment with film, subvert stereotypes and propose a restless cinema which enlists an extremely appealing thematic and stylistic palette.<\/p>\n<p>All three films accompanied by <a href=\"https:\/\/sfu.sk\/en\/films\/the-cleaner\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong><em>The Cleaner<\/em><\/strong><\/a> (dir.
