The Festival features several Slovak shorts in the official programme as well as in the accompanying events.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>A special programme Cinema Roulette brings the idea of presenting unfiltered selection from the European submissions to this year\u00b4s festival edition. The unique mixture of films also introduces three Slovak films: <strong><em>Let<\/em><\/strong> (dir. J\u00e1n Guga) \u2013 a story of an amateur sportsman training for a competition approached by a strange friend; existential and deep narrative <strong><em>Mila Fog<\/em><\/strong> (dir. Marta Prokopov\u00e1); and <a href=\"https:\/\/sfu.sk\/en\/films\/cowboyland\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong><em>Cowboyland<\/em><\/strong><\/a> (dir. D\u00e1vid \u0160tumpf) \u2013 a brisk comedy from Wild West.<\/p>\n<p>FilmFest Dresden will host\u00a0the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.filmfest-dresden.de\/en\/professionals\/visegrad-forum\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Visegr\u00e1d in Short(s)<\/a> Forum\u00a0to support short film makers from Visegrad countries to network, co-operate and present planned projects. Within this platform,\u00a0Slovak Film Institute and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bfilm.sk\/en\/novinky\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">BFilm<\/a> will provide an insight into the Slovak short film production. The Slovak short film\u00a0presentation\u00a0will be followed by the Czech &amp; Slovak showcase focused on promising talents. The showcase introduces two student films: <strong><em>Cowboyland <\/em><\/strong>(dir. D\u00e1vid \u0160tumpf<em>), <\/em>and <strong><em>Fear <\/em><\/strong>(dir. Michal Bla\u0161ko) &#8211; a tale of a young boy who witnesses a violent attack on a bus, and one independent short-animation by <a href=\"http:\/\/ovepictures.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Ov\u00e9 Pictures<\/a><strong>\u00a0<em>NINA<\/em> <\/strong>(dir.
