{"id":37950,"date":"2016-10-19T09:43:00","date_gmt":"2016-10-19T07:43:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sfu.sk\/?post_type=novinka&#038;p=37950"},"modified":"2025-08-12T13:12:54","modified_gmt":"2025-08-12T11:12:54","slug":"slovak-animation-at-anima-mundi-2016","status":"publish","type":"novinka","link":"https:\/\/sfu.sk\/en\/news\/slovak-animation-at-anima-mundi-2016\/","title":{"rendered":"Slovak animation at Anima Mundi 2016"},"content":{"rendered":"<p align=\"justify\"><strong>Five Slovak animated films are prepared for the screening at the 23rd International Animation Festival of Brazil <a href=\"https:\/\/www.animamundi.com.br\/\">Anima Mundi<\/a> (October 25 \u2013 30, 2016, Rio de Janeiro and November 2 \u2013 6, 2016 Sao Paulo).<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The omnibus <a href=\"https:\/\/sfu.sk\/en\/films\/murderous-tales\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong><em>Murderous Tales<\/em><\/strong><\/a> (dir. Jan Buben\u00ed\u010dek) vies in the Feature\u00a0Films Competition. The film consists of three stories \u2013 Antonio Cacto, Lighthouse and Big Man \u2013 and three ultra-short blackouts: Charge the Dragon. Each episode\u00a0 uses a different production technology and belong to a different genre, but they are related in the topic of heroism and death.<\/p>\n<p>Further two short films are included to the competitive sidebars.<strong><em><br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/sfu.sk\/en\/films\/star-taxi\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Star Taxi<\/a> <\/em><\/strong>(dir. J. Krumpolec), about the adventures of Hugo, a small boy, and Peppino, a taxi driver, on their journey through the dangerous universe based on the original story by the acclaimed writer Gianni Rodari; is shown in the Short Film Competition for Children.<br \/>\nA co-production title <a href=\"https:\/\/sfu.sk\/en\/films\/superbia\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong><em>Superbia<\/em><\/strong> <\/a>(dir. Luca T\u00f3th) about native people of the surrealistic land of Superbia, where men and women form separate societies, competes in the Short Film Competition.<\/p>\n<p>Two student films <a href=\"https:\/\/sfu.sk\/en\/films\/cowboyland\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong><em>Cowboyland<\/em><\/strong> <\/a>(dir. David \u0160tumpf) and <strong><em>Sk\u00e1\u010dem<\/em><\/strong> (dir.
