{"id":37957,"date":"2016-09-27T14:20:00","date_gmt":"2016-09-27T12:20:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sfu.sk\/?post_type=novinka&#038;p=37957"},"modified":"2025-08-12T12:27:22","modified_gmt":"2025-08-12T10:27:22","slug":"ksakes-cut-it-short-with-special-screening-of-slovak-shorts","status":"publish","type":"novinka","link":"https:\/\/sfu.sk\/en\/news\/ksakes-cut-it-short-with-special-screening-of-slovak-shorts\/","title":{"rendered":"K&#305;saKes \u2013 Cut it Short with special screening of Slovak shorts"},"content":{"rendered":"<p align=\"justify\"><strong>K\u0131saKes \u2013 Cut it Short (September 27 \u2013 30, 2016) is a short film festival held in Istanbul open to all short film makers from all over the world which initiated to give priorly youngs the possibility to express themselves through art and to share those expressions among themselves and their environment under the common language of cinema.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The festival takes place twice a year in two different concepts:<\/p>\n<p>KisaKes Univision:\u00a0international short film festival for all short film makers, including an international short film competition for university students<\/p>\n<p>KisaKes Lisevizyon: national short film competition for high-school students only.<\/p>\n<p>For the first time this year, the festival has launched an Industry section called Mini Market, giving international film &amp; media, production &amp; post production companies, festivals, as well as educational institutions, the possibility to share exhibition space and promote their businesses to festival visitors and form new international work alliances.<br \/>\n<em><br \/>\n<\/em>Slovak Film Institute is part of Mini Market, presenting not only the best of Slovak short film production, but also representing the Slovak audiovisual space in general, and introducing international activities the Institute is involved in.<br \/>\nThe aim is to attract young filmmakers from all over the world and provide them with thorough information about Short film festivals in Slovakia, introduce archive, as well as contemporary Slovak film production and also to discuss other possibilities of collaboration in film business.<\/p>\n<p>The festival programme includes a pitching event, providing short film makers with a platform for evolving their upcoming projects, various workshops and master classes on different branches of the film business such as animation, directing, acting, crowd funding, etc. Part of the festival is also the Art exhibition of renowned Turkish artis , musician and poet Can Bonomo entitled \u201eAnachronism\u201c.<\/p>\n<p>A selection of Slovak short films will be screened within the programme of the festival as a special screening on Thursday, September 29, at 17:30.<br \/>\nSelected Slovak short films are:<br \/>\n<em><strong>Occupation<\/strong><\/em> (dir.
