The representative showcase Slovak Film Days will run from September 27 to October 1, 2016.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The opening ceremonial in Belgrade features successful documentary <a href=\"https:\/\/sfu.sk\/eshop\/dvd\/ako-sa-varia-dejiny\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong><em>Cooking History<\/em><\/strong><\/a> (dir. Peter Kerekes) about army cooks, or about how the daily needs of thousands of armed stomachs influenced the victories and defeats of leading statesmen.<br \/>\nAlso the archive films from the Blu-Ray collection released on the occasion of Slovak Presidency of the Council of the European Union will be screened: <a href=\"https:\/\/sfu.sk\/eshop\/dvd\/boxer-a-smrt\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong><em>The Boxer and Death<\/em><\/strong><\/a> (dir. Peter Solan), <a href=\"https:\/\/sfu.sk\/eshop\/blu-ray\/blu-ray-slnko-v-sieti\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong><em>The Sun in a Net<\/em><\/strong><\/a> (dir. \u0160tefan Uher), <a href=\"https:\/\/sfu.sk\/eshop\/dvd\/vtackovia-siroty-a-blazni\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong><em>Birdies, Orphans and Fools<\/em><\/strong><\/a> (dir. Juraj Jakubisko), <a href=\"https:\/\/sfu.sk\/eshop\/blu-ray\/blu-ray-ja-milujem-ty-milujes\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong><em>I Love, You Love<\/em><\/strong><\/a> (dir. Du\u0161an Han\u00e1k) and <a href=\"https:\/\/sfu.sk\/eshop\/dvd\/chodnik-cez-dunaj\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong><em>A Path Across the Danube<\/em><\/strong><\/a> (dir. Miloslav Luther). A closing film of the showcase is a comedy <a href=\"https:\/\/sfu.sk\/en\/films\/wilson-city\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong><em>Wilson City<\/em><\/strong><\/a> (dir Tom\u00e1\u0161 Ma\u0161\u00edn).<\/p>\n<p>The showcase Slovak Film Days in Serbia is organized by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mzv.sk\/web\/belehrad-en\">the Embassy of the Slovak Republic in Belgrade<\/a> in co-operation with the Slovak Film Institute.
