{"id":37969,"date":"2017-01-13T15:21:00","date_gmt":"2017-01-13T14:21:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sfu.sk\/?post_type=novinka&#038;p=37969"},"modified":"2025-08-13T09:58:06","modified_gmt":"2025-08-13T07:58:06","slug":"little-harbour-by-iveta-grofova-at-berlinale-2017","status":"publish","type":"novinka","link":"https:\/\/sfu.sk\/en\/news\/little-harbour-by-iveta-grofova-at-berlinale-2017\/","title":{"rendered":"Little Harbour by Iveta Gr\u00f3fov\u00e1 at Berlinale 2017!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.berlinale.de\/en\/HomePage.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Berlin IFF<\/a> (Feb 9 \u2013 19, 2017) will introduce Iveta Gr\u00f3fov\u00e1&#8217;s second feature within the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.berlinale.de\/en\/das_festival\/sektionen_sonderveranstaltungen\/generation\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><em>Generation<\/em><\/a><em> Kplus<\/em> section.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/sfu.sk\/en\/films\/little-harbour\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong><em>Little Harbour<\/em><\/strong><\/a> is based on the successful book <em>The Fifth Boat<\/em> by Monika Kompan\u00edkov\u00e1, which has been awarded Slovak Book of the Year in 2010. Inspired by true events, the story is about two children whose innocent play will change their lives forever. Ten years old and living with a mother who is not yet ready to be a Mum, Jarka is pushed by her desire to love and form a family to the point where she finds herself giving shelter to two abandoned twin babies.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cWe have greatly enjoyed watching your film, it fully convinced us with its tender and thoughtful portrayal of a young (and wonderfully acted) protagonist in a world that often lacks tenderness.\u201d<\/em> festival programme team said on the decision.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/sfu.sk\/en\/films\/little-harbour\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><em><strong>Little Harbour<\/strong><\/em><\/a> has been co-produced by Hulapa film (SK), endorfilm (CZ), Katapult Film (HU), Silverart (SK), Rozhlas a telev\u00edzia Slovenska (SK) and supported by Audiovisual fund, MEDIA Programme, State cinematography fund, Eurimages and Bratislava municipality.<\/p>\n<p>The debut film by Iveta Gr\u00f3fov\u00e1 <strong><em>Made in Ash<\/em><\/strong> (2012) was already a festival success.
