\"\"The jubilee 30th edition of film festival Fin\u00e1le Plze\u0148<\/a> (April 20 \u2013 26, 2017) will once again introduce a significant number of Slovak film titles. Slovak cinema will be showcased not only in the competitive and non-competitive sidebars, but also within the Industry section Czech Film Springboard.<\/strong><\/p>\n

In the Feature Live Action or Animated Films Competition will vie: In Your Dreams! <\/strong><\/em><\/a>(dir. Petr Oukropec), The Red Captain<\/strong><\/em><\/a> (dir. Michal Koll\u00e1r), I, Olga Hepnarova<\/strong><\/em> <\/a>(dir. Tom\u00e1\u0161 Weinreb, Petr Kazda), The Oddsockeaters<\/a><\/em><\/strong> (dir. Galina Mikl\u00ednov\u00e1), The Tiger Theory<\/strong><\/em><\/a> (dir. Radek Bajgar), The Teacher<\/em><\/strong><\/a> (dir. Jan H\u0159ebejk) and Wolf from the Royal Vineyard Street<\/strong><\/em> (dir. Jan N\u011bmec).<\/p>\n

The Documentary Film Competition will feature four films:\u00a05 October<\/strong><\/em><\/a> (dir. Martin Kollar), The Czech Way<\/strong><\/em> (dir. Martin Kohout), A Hole in the Head<\/strong><\/em><\/a> (dir. Robert Kirchhoff) and Okhwan Mission Impossible <\/strong><\/em><\/a>(dir. Marek Mackovi\u010d).<\/p>\n

Two TV projects have been selected\u00a0for the Serial and Non-serial TV and Internet Production Competition: a fairy tale The Magical Nose <\/em><\/strong>(dir.\u00a0Stanislav P\u00e1rnick\u00fd) and a series Behind the Glass<\/em> directed <\/strong>by Peter Bebjak, Zuzana Mariankov\u00e1 and R\u00f3bert \u0160veda.<\/p>\n

More Slovak films will be introduced within the non-competitive sections.
\nIn the\u00a0Nets of 2016 will\u00a0show Angel of the Lord 2<\/strong><\/em> <\/a>(dir. Ji\u0159\u00ed Strach), Stuck with a Perfect Woman<\/strong><\/em><\/a> (dir. Tom\u00e1\u0161 Hoffman), Little Feather<\/strong><\/em> (dir. Lucia Klein Svoboda, Petr Klein Svoboda), Detour on the Path to Perfect Illusion<\/strong><\/em> (dir. R\u00f3bert Fi\u013eo) and Murderous Tales<\/strong><\/em><\/a> (dir. Jan Buben\u00ed\u010dek). The selection of the latest Czech and Slovak films will be presented within the section Riding the 2017 Wave\u00a0featuring Ice Mother<\/em><\/strong><\/a> (dir. Bohdan Sl\u00e1ma), Little Harbour<\/strong><\/em><\/a> (dir. Iveta Gr\u00f3fov\u00e1), Filthy <\/strong><\/em><\/a>(dir. Tereza Nvotov\u00e1) and All or Nothing<\/em><\/strong><\/a> (dir. Marta Ferencov\u00e1).
\nThe Czech pre-premiere awiats for Cuky Luky Film<\/strong><\/em><\/a> (dir. Karel Jan\u00e1k) and the first epizode of the trilogy Garden Store: A Family Friend<\/em><\/strong><\/a> (dir. Jan H\u0159ebejk). Moreover, the Czech Traces in the International Co-Productions will feature Spoor <\/em><\/strong><\/a>by Agniezsky Holland.<\/p>\n

A tailored presentation of upcoming Czech Films Czech Film Springboard, will traditionally be part of the festival’s Industry programme.\u00a0Within the pitching will be\u00a0presented a\u00a0Czech-Slovak-Croatian project Cook, Fuck, Kill<\/em><\/strong> by Mira Fornay.<\/p>\n
