The list includes three Slovak films: <a href=\"https:\/\/sfu.sk\/en\/films\/the-teacher\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong><em>The Teacher<\/em><\/strong><\/a> (dir. Jan H\u0159ebejk), and two minority co-productions <a href=\"https:\/\/sfu.sk\/en\/films\/ice-mother\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong><em>Ice Mother<\/em><\/strong><\/a> (dir. Bohdan Sl\u00e1ma) and <a href=\"https:\/\/sfu.sk\/en\/films\/spoor\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong><em>Spoor<\/em><\/strong><\/a> (dir. Agnieszka Holland).<\/p>\n<p>The nomination is another international success for <strong><em>The Teacher<\/em><\/strong>. Since its world premiere at Karlovy Vary IFF 2016, where it received Crystal Globe for the Best Actress in a Leading Role (Zuzana Maur\u00e9ry), the film has been successfully travelling the festival circuit and been distributed in more than 50 countries\u00a0worldwide.<\/p>\n<p>Slovak-Czech title <strong><em>The Teacher<\/em><\/strong> was not the Slovak National Nomination, however EFA decided to include the film on this year\u2019s selection list.
