Traditional section Made in Slovakia brings contemporary Slovak cinema to an international audience.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The full-length part of the section consists of two co-production feature films: <a href=\"https:\/\/sfu.sk\/en\/films\/the-white-world-according-to-daliborek\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><em><strong>The White World According to Daliborek <\/strong><\/em><\/a>(dir. V\u00edt Klus\u00e1k) and <a href=\"https:\/\/sfu.sk\/en\/films\/garden-store-suitor\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong><em>Garden Store: Suito<\/em>r<\/strong><\/a> (dir. Jan H\u0159ebejk). Third one is the medium-length documentary <em><strong>Varga<\/strong> <\/em>(dir. So\u0148a Maletzov\u00e1), which portrays the life of musician Mari\u00e1n Varga through archive images of his musical performances. Through various interpretations of one song in different periods of his lifetime, the film accurately depicts the iconic character of Slovak big beat generation.<\/p>\n<p>The core of the Made in Slovakia section consists of short films: <em><strong>China<\/strong> <\/em>(dir. Gregor Valentovi\u010d), <em><strong>Into the World<\/strong><\/em> (dir. Al\u017ebeta Hru\u0161ovsk\u00e1), <em><strong>Strawberry Days<\/strong><\/em> (dir. Eva Sekere\u0161ov\u00e1), <em><strong>J\u00fatub.com<\/strong><\/em> (dir. R\u00f3bert Bo\u0161e\u013ea), <em><strong>The Contrast<\/strong><\/em> (dir. Barbora B\u00e1rkov\u00e1), <em><strong>About My Sister <\/strong><\/em>(dir. Barbora Sliepkov\u00e1), <em><strong>De Luxe<\/strong><\/em> (dir. M\u00e1ria Pin\u010d\u00edkov\u00e1), <em><strong>Tutti<\/strong> <\/em>(dir. Marek Jasa\u0148), <em><strong>Dance Teacher<\/strong><\/em> (dir. Barbora Vaculov\u00e1), <em><strong>woMAN<\/strong> <\/em>(dir. Patr\u00edcia Gyenesov\u00e1) and <em><strong>Yours<\/strong> <\/em>(dir. Michal Fulier). The program also includes festival success <em><strong>Atlantis, 2003<\/strong><\/em> (dir. Michal Bla\u0161ko), first featured in the Cin\u00e9fondation section of Cannes IFF, as well as <em><strong>Magic Moments<\/strong><\/em> by Martina Buchelov\u00e1, world premiered in Short Cuts at Toronto IFF.<\/p>\n<p>Next to contemporary Slovak films, Bratislava IFF will also present older Slovak titles. Section Tribute: Bo\u017eidara Turzonov\u00e1 will bring the movie <em><strong>Penelope<\/strong> <\/em>(dir. \u0160tefan Uher) back on the big screen as will the section Lexicon: Screen Acting with<em> <strong>Our Daily Life<\/strong><\/em> (dir. Otakar Kriv\u00e1nek). Especially for children, the festival prepared section Junior: Bedtime Stories and the series <em><strong>The Tiniest Heroes<\/strong><\/em> (dir.
