The latest entry, feature debut of Martin \u0160ul\u00edk <em><a href=\"https:\/\/sfu.sk\/en\/eshop\/uncategorized\/blu-ray-tenderness-neha\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Tenderness<\/a> <\/em>(1991), will world premiere on Blu-ray on August 10, 2020.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>A rich and complex coming-of-age story, <strong><em><a href=\"https:\/\/sfu.sk\/en\/eshop\/uncategorized\/blu-ray-tenderness-neha\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Tenderness<\/a> <\/em><\/strong>focuses on a passionate and often-cruel m\u00e9nage \u00e0 trois shaped by a country in the throes of political upheaval and social transformation. Cited as one of the finest ever-Slovak feature debuts, the film marked the arrival of \u0160ul\u00edk as one of international cinema&#8217;s most vital talents. (Peter Hames)<\/p>\n<p>Blu-ray edition includes special features: short documentaries <em><strong>Hur\u00e1<\/strong> <\/em>(1989) by Martin \u0160ul\u00edk and <strong><em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.secondrundvd.com\/release_tenderness.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">On Tenderness<\/a><\/em><\/strong> (2020) by Michal Michalovi\u010d. The new documentary produced by the SFI captures Martin \u0160ul\u00edk (director, screenplay), Ondrej \u0160ulaj (screenplay), Zuzana Gindl Tat\u00e1rov\u00e1 (dramaturgy), Vladim\u00edr God\u00e1r (music) and Martin \u0160trba (cinematography) talking about creative process and the state of the Slovak film industry in the early 1990s. The release also contains 20-page booklet featuring new essay on the film by historian Peter Hames.<\/p>\n<p>Second Run specializes in the release of important and award-winning films from all around the world.
