\"\"The sixth edition of the Slovak Film Week<\/a> (October 20 \u2013 26, 2020) will take place in an abbreviated virtual form as a result of measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19. The prepared accompanying events – discussion panels, seminars or discussions – are postponed to a later date due to the precarious situation during the emergency.<\/p>\n

The showcase will present\u00a0winners of the national film award The Sun in a Net 2020: Amnesty<\/a> <\/em><\/strong>(dir. Jon\u00e1\u0161 Kar\u00e1sek), The Good Death<\/a><\/em> <\/strong>(dir. Tom\u00e1\u0161 Krupa), Watchmaker’s Apprentice<\/a><\/em><\/strong> (dir. Jitka Rudolfov\u00e1), Loli Paradi\u010dka<\/a><\/em><\/strong> (dir. Richard, V\u00ed\u0165o Staviarsky), Let There Be Light<\/a><\/em><\/strong> (d. Marko \u0160kop), Punk Never Ends!<\/a><\/em><\/strong> (dir. Juraj \u0160lauka) and the short animated film The Kite<\/a><\/em> <\/strong>(dir. Martin Smatana, 2019). The digitally restored film Run, He Is Coming!<\/em> <\/strong>(dir. Du\u0161an Rapo\u0161) from the collections of the National Film Archive of the SFI.<\/p>\n

The Slovak Film Week will take place on the platform www.kino-doma.sk<\/a> (20 October \u2013 10 November 2020), screenings are scheduled every Tuesday and Thursday as a live stream at 8.20 pm. and each film will be preceded by a short video with the filmmakers. The films will be also available on the website www.tyzdenfilmu.sk<\/a>.<\/p>\n
