65th edition of the International Leipzig Festival for Documentary and Animated Film<\/a> (October 17 \u2013 23, 2022) will present nine Slovak film in the program.<\/strong><\/p>\n Competition for the Audience Award Short Documentary and Animated Film includes animated film Money and Happiness<\/em><\/strong> by Ana Nedeljkovi\u0107 and Nikola Majdak Jr.<\/p>\n Igor Ivanko\u2019s documentary feature debut Fragile Memory<\/em><\/a><\/strong> was selected for non-competitive Panorama section, while Lucie Sunkov\u00e1\u2019s Suzie in the Garden<\/em><\/strong><\/a> is waiting for the young audience in Kids Dok programme.<\/p>\n Festival decided to celebrate Central and Eastern European shorts with special program of 25 films from the region shown one evening in a continuous screening. The program was made in co-operation with national centers and institutes of Croatia, Czech Republic, Estonia, Poland, and Slovakia (represented by the Slovak Film Institute). Audience will have a chance to see Concrete Times<\/em><\/strong> (dir. Lucia Ka\u0161ov\u00e1), Extraction <\/em><\/strong>(dir. Kate\u0159ina Hron\u00edkov\u00e1), Persona Grata<\/em><\/strong><\/a> (dir. Daniela Kraj\u010dov\u00e1), Poetika Anima<\/em><\/strong><\/a> (dir. Kriss Sagan), Wild Beasts<\/em><\/a><\/strong> (dir. Marta Prokopov\u00e1, Michal Bla\u0161ko) and Sh_t Happens<\/em><\/strong><\/a> (dir. David \u0160tumpf, Michaela Mih\u00e1lyi).<\/p>\n
