This year, it also features a rich representation of Slovak films, also thanks to a section focusing on works by young Czech female directors.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the Feature Films Competition we will find the co-production <em><a href=\"https:\/\/sfu.sk\/en\/films\/our-lovely-pig-slaughter\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Our Lovely Pig Slaughter<\/strong> <\/a><\/em>(dir. Adam Martinec) and in the Short Film Competition the dystopian drama <em><strong>Shadding the Mist<\/strong><\/em> (dir. Kate\u0159ina Hron\u00edkov\u00e1) appears in the lineup. In the Youth Film U18 Competition section the successful Slovak-Hungarian film <em><a href=\"https:\/\/sfu.sk\/en\/films\/explanation-for-everything\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Explanation for Everything<\/strong><\/a><\/em> (dir. G\u00e1bor Reisz) will compete.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The non-competitive section Hits will screen the audience-favorite film <strong><em><a href=\"https:\/\/sfu.sk\/en\/films\/waves\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Waves<\/a><\/em> <\/strong>(dir. Ji\u0159\u00ed M\u00e1dl), the Ecoeast section the drama <em><a href=\"https:\/\/sfu.sk\/en\/films\/dry-season\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Dry Season<\/strong><\/a><\/em> (dir. Bohdan Sl\u00e1ma) and the Midnight Madness section the Slovak mystery thriller <em><a href=\"https:\/\/sfu.sk\/en\/films\/whirlwind\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Whirlwind<\/strong><\/a><\/em> (dir. Peter Bebjak).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Female Gaze: New Czech Films by Female Directors is the title of the section that includes 8 co-productions. Among the fiction films are: the new release <em><a href=\"https:\/\/sfu.sk\/en\/films\/year-of-the-widow\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Year of the Widow<\/strong><\/a><\/em> (dir. Veronika Li\u0161kov\u00e1), <em><a href=\"https:\/\/sfu.sk\/en\/films\/her-body\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Her Body<\/strong><\/a><\/em> (dir. Natalie C\u00edsa\u0159ovsk\u00e1), <em><a href=\"https:\/\/sfu.sk\/en\/films\/tiny-lights\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Tiny Lights<\/strong><\/a><\/em> (dir. Beata Parkanov\u00e1), <em><a href=\"https:\/\/sfu.sk\/en\/films\/ordinary-failures\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Ordinary Failures<\/strong><\/a><\/em> (dir. Cristina Gro\u0219an), and the successful short <strong><em><a href=\"https:\/\/sfu.sk\/en\/films\/electra\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Electra<\/a><\/em> <\/strong>by Daria Kascheeva. The selection is complemented by two documentaries: <em><a href=\"https:\/\/sfu.sk\/en\/films\/im-not-everything-i-want-to-be\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>I&#8217;m not Everything I Want to Be<\/strong><\/a><\/em> (dir. Kl\u00e1ra Tasovsk\u00e1) and <em><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/sfu.sk\/en\/films\/the-limits-of-europe\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">The Limits of Europe<\/a><\/strong><\/em> (dir. Apolena Rychl\u00edkov\u00e1). It concludes with the feature animation <em><a href=\"https:\/\/sfu.sk\/en\/films\/my-sunny-maad\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>My Sunny Maad<\/strong><\/a><\/em> (dir.
