The Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival<\/a> (P\u00d6FF) lasts nearly the entire month of November (November 8 \u2013 24, 2024), and this year again, many Slovak films will be screened in Estonia.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The world premiere of the Slovak film Nobody Loves Me<\/strong><\/a><\/em>, directed by the duo Petr Kazda and Tom\u00e1\u0161 Weinreb, has been selected for the Critics\u2019 Picks Competition. The film Ms. President<\/strong><\/a><\/em> (dir. Marek \u0160ul\u00edk), which recently won the main award at the Ji.hlava IDFF, will be presented within the Doc@P\u00d6FF Competition. The Official Selection \u2013 Competition will screen the co-production Girl America<\/strong><\/a><\/em> (dir. Viktor Tau\u0161).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Best of Docs section will showcase the film Wishing on a Star<\/strong><\/a><\/em> directed by Peter Kerekes, which premiered at the Venice Film Festival. The Best of Festivals and Standing with Ukraine sections will bring the co-production The Editorial Office<\/em><\/a> <\/strong>(dir. Roman Bondarchuk), which premiered at this year’s Berlinale.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Children\u2019s Programme will present two feature animated films, both nominated for the ECFA Award: Living Large<\/strong><\/a><\/em> (dir. Kristina Dufkov\u00e1) and Diplodocus<\/em><\/a> <\/strong>(dir. Wojtek Wawszczyk).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the Shorts Animation Competition, I Died in Irpin<\/strong><\/a><\/em> (dir. Anastasiia Falileieva) will compete, while in the Kids section it will be Hello Summer<\/strong><\/a><\/em> by Martin Smatana and Veronika Zacharov\u00e1.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Industry@Tallinn & Baltic Event<\/a> programme for film professionals (15 \u2013 22 November 2024) will present among the Works in Progress projects the co-production Secret Delivery<\/a><\/em> <\/strong>(dir. J\u00e1n Sebechlebsk\u00fd, SK prod. Arinafilm).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
