At the 41st Warsaw Film Festival<\/a> (October 10 \u2013 19, 2025), three feature-length Slovak films \u2014 both majority and minority co-productions \u2014 will be screened, all in their Polish premieres. In addition, three Slovak projects in development and post-production will be presented as part of the festival\u2019s industry section.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the main International Competition, the fiction film Father<\/em><\/strong><\/a> <\/strong>(dir. Tereza Nvotov\u00e1) will be shown; since its premiere in Venice, the film has enjoyed success in Slovak cinemas as well as at international festivals. The drama Caravan<\/a><\/strong><\/em> by Zuzana Kirchnerov\u00e1, which premiered at the Festival de Cannes, is included in the Competition 1\u20132 section dedicated to first and second feature films. The same section will also feature the drama Broken Voices<\/a><\/em> <\/strong>(dir. Ond\u0159ej Provazn\u00edk), which celebrated its world premiere at the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As part of the Warsaw Co-Production Forum<\/a> (October 15 \u2013 16, 2025) \u2013<\/em> the central event of the festival\u2019s industry program \u2014 three upcoming Slovak projects will be presented. Among the ten Projects in Development from Central and Eastern Europe is the emerging fiction film Blue Helmet<\/a><\/strong><\/em> (dir. Palo Korec, SK prod. Art4). Within the five selected Works in Progress, two Slovak films in post-production have been included: the minority co-production CHICA CHECA<\/a><\/strong><\/em> (dir. \u0160imon Hol\u00fd, SK prod. Arinafilm) and the drama Flood<\/a><\/strong><\/em> (dir. Martin Gonda, SK prod. Silverart), which is a Slovak majority production.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
