The festival\u2019s industry programme will showcase two Slovak projects.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Competition 1\u20132 section, dedicated to first and second feature films, will present the fiction film <em><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/sfu.sk\/en\/films\/lover-not-a-fighter\/\" data-type=\"film\" data-id=\"38800\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Lover, Not a Fighter<\/a><\/strong><\/em> by Martina Buchelov\u00e1, which won the Proxima Grand Prix at its premiere in Karlovy Vary and the main Golden Kingfisher Award at the Fin\u00e1le Plze\u0148 festival. The minority co-production <strong><em><a href=\"https:\/\/sfu.sk\/en\/films\/backwoods\/\" data-type=\"film\" data-id=\"45125\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Backwoods<\/a><\/em><\/strong> (d. Ev\u017eenie Brabcov\u00e1) also premiered in Plze\u0148 and will compete in the same section in Warsaw.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Documentary Competition includes Ester Geislerov\u00e1\u2019s debut <strong><em><a href=\"https:\/\/sfu.sk\/en\/films\/the-pint-of-ink\/\" data-type=\"film\" data-id=\"58154\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">The Pint of Ink<\/a><\/em><\/strong>. The Special Screenings section will present the acclaimed Slovak fiction feature <em><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/sfu.sk\/en\/films\/nepela\/\" data-type=\"film\" data-id=\"54814\">Nepela<\/a><\/strong><\/em>, directed by Gregor Valentovi\u010d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Two upcoming Slovak projects will be presented at the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/wff.pl\/industry\/co-production-forum\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Warsaw Co-Production Forum<\/a><\/strong> (15\u201316 October 2026), the centrepiece of the festival\u2019s industry programme. The minority <em><strong>The Theory of Strangeness<\/strong><\/em> (d. Tereza Kop\u00e1\u010dov\u00e1, Slovak co-prod. PubRes) has been selected among ten projects in development from Central and Eastern Europe. The Slovak majority <em><strong>Panna Sofia<\/strong><\/em> (d. V\u00e1clav Kadrnka, prod.
