Two Slovak projects will also take part in the industry programme connecting cottbus (coco).<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This year\u2019s special section, entitled Spectrum: Transformation Without End? \u2013 Cinematic Perspectives on the Fall of the Berlin Wall and Its Aftermath, has selected two Slovak films: <em><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/sfu.sk\/en\/films\/invalid\/\" data-type=\"film\" data-id=\"41273\">Invalid<\/a><\/strong><\/em> (d. Jon\u00e1\u0161 Kar\u00e1sek, 2023) and <em><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.skcinema.sk\/arl-sfu\/en\/detail\/?&amp;idx=sfu_un_cat-0*000140\">On the Beautiful Blue Danube<\/a><\/strong><\/em> (d. \u0160tefan Semjan, 1994, pictured). Through these titles, the section aims to highlight the social transformation of Eastern European countries, which are at the heart of the festival\u2019s focus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In the GenNext<strong> <\/strong>competition, the festival will present Martina Buchelov\u00e1\u2019s successful debut <em><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/sfu.sk\/en\/films\/lover-not-a-fighter\/\" data-type=\"film\" data-id=\"38800\">Lover, Not a Fighter<\/a><\/strong><\/em>, which won the Proxima Grand Prix at this year\u2019s Karlovy Vary International Film Festival. In the short film competition, the thriller <em><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/sfu.sk\/en\/films\/raklo\/\" data-type=\"film\" data-id=\"46109\">Raklo<\/a><\/strong><\/em> (d. Petr Simon) will compete for the award and will have its premiere in Cottbus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Cottbus Masters section, which showcases films by established directors straight from major international film festivals, will screen <strong><em><a href=\"https:\/\/sfu.sk\/en\/films\/only-beautiful-things-to-look-at\/\" data-type=\"film\" data-id=\"38559\">Only Beautiful Things to Look At<\/a><\/em><\/strong> by Ivan Ostrochovsk\u00fd. The award-winning film <strong><em><a href=\"https:\/\/sfu.sk\/en\/films\/flood\/\" data-type=\"film\" data-id=\"38891\">Flood <\/a><\/em><\/strong>(d. Martin Gonda) has been selected for the EcoEast<strong> <\/strong>section. The Spectrum section will showcase the minority co-production <strong><em><a href=\"https:\/\/sfu.sk\/en\/films\/wirbel\/\" data-type=\"film\" data-id=\"46899\">Wirbel <\/a><\/em><\/strong>(d. Tom\u00e1\u0161 Hub\u00e1\u010dek, SK co-prod. sentimentalfilm). Within the Kids Cinema section, three films will be screened for young audiences, including the feature adventure comedy <strong><em><a href=\"https:\/\/sfu.sk\/en\/films\/extraordinary\/\" data-type=\"film\" data-id=\"38787\">Extraordinary<\/a><\/em><\/strong> (d. Marina Andree \u0160kop and Vanda Ra\u00fdmanov\u00e1, SK co-prod. objectif).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As part of the connecting cottbus industry programme (4\u20136 November), the upcoming film <em><strong>White Gypsy<\/strong><\/em> (d. Katar\u00edna Gramatov\u00e1, prod. D.N.A. Production) will be presented among the cocoPITCH projects. The cocoWIP has selected Slovak drama <em><strong>Interest<\/strong><\/em> (d.
