The SFI\u2019s Documentation Section<\/strong><\/span> constitutes a part of the Documentation and Library Services Department of the National Film Archive. The Documentation collections, which consist of so-called documentation components, contain textual materials to individual Slovak and foreign cinematographic and other audiovisual works, film personalities, producers of audiovisual recordings and other film organisations, film festivals, film showings and other public events related to the audiovisual heritage and cinematographic culture in Slovakia. Documentation components may include production sheets, distribution sheets, press releases, newspaper and magazine clippings, textual promotional materials, foreign language materials, montage sheets, dialogue lists, festival catalogues and other information materials related to the history and present of film events in Slovakia and abroad. The Documentation Section provides services to registered users of the Documentation and Library Services Department in accordance with the Loan Regulations Governing Access to Film Copies of Audiovisual Works and Audiovisual Recordings, Archived Documents and Collectibles and Access to Related Services of the National Film Archive. The archived materials can be made available only on the premises of the SFI Library for study purposes \u2013 this is one of the basic services of the Documentation Section.<\/p>\n
