This is not the case of Slovak filmmaker Ján Kadár who did not finish law at the Charles University in Prague, neither the school of Applied Arts in Bratislava, or the FAMU film school in Prague. On the contrary, his life and career compose the story of a successful self-made man, a film director who made both experimental films and film that were widely popular.
