    Film je zavŕšením Uhrovej pomyselnej trilógie reagujúcej na udalosti 2. svetovej vojny (Organ), jej koniec (Panna zázračnica) i povojnové obdobie. Ludová balada o troch dcérach je situovaná do obdobia kolektivizácie v 50. rokoch. Otec Majda chce zanechať majetok synovi, preto svoje tri dcéry posiela do kláštora. Keď však v čase kolektivizácie o všetko príde, útočisko môže nájsť jedine u nich. Podľa tradícií ľudovej balady, pomocnú ruku podá otcovi tá najmladšia. Autori (Uher a Bednár) budujú drámu o fanatizme postupne od ironickej drobnokresby stretnutí kláštornej čaty s vedením štátneho majetku až po konfliktný stret dvoch nezlučiteľných ideológií.

    A film about the dramatic lives of the people of the village of Ráztoka during WW I. Women are left without husbands, families fall apart, finding themselves on the verge of poverty. Eva, the main heroine, is going through difficulties after her husband was drafted to the army. Her defilement and her tragic death cause a rebellion by which the village inhabitants finally stand up against their unbearable situation.

    A film adaptation of the novelette of the same tittle written by Dominik Tatarka depicts the life of a young generation of artists that was formed in Slovakia during the war. Anabella - a young and beautiful girl meets a group of artists. She awakens their erotic desires but also pure feelings of love; she becomes the object of their secret fantasies as well as their artistic inspiration. And it seems that the boundaries between reality and fantasy suddenly cease to exist.

And as it usually goes - after twenty years by a trick of fate Richardus´ daughter Agajka becomes the wife of the son of his enemy.

In a frosty mountain setting a cruel struggle for life takes place. After a fight, two partisans return to their brigade carrying along a young German soldier as a captive. But suddenly, amidst the hopelessness of barren mountains, all protagonists find themselves in a liminal existential situation.

    A dramatic story from the setting of a youth detention center. Youngster Jakub, out of delusory solidarity, gets convicted of theft and goes to prison in place of the "sheriff" of his gang. He naively hopes that the sheriff will appreciate his gesture and leaves the stolen goods in a safe hideaway to later divide them fairly among the gang members. This conviction gives Jakub the strength to endure the unbearable conditions in the center. But reality is often much harsher than naive ideals and hollow relations in the gang.

During one night they gradually reveal their unfulfilled dreams, illusions and disappointments of "average" people of those times.

    Three soccer fans determined to do literally anything to get to the soccer match between Czechoslovakia and the famous representation team of Brazil. Reaching their goal to see the dream match live cannot be precluded neither by a sudden work task nor family obligations. However, there is one more obstacle in their way: for some time, their enthusiastic behavior during soccer matches has been monitored by the police. This time, it will not be easy for them to get to the stadium.

    A screen adaptation of drama The Shepherd’s Wife by Ivan Stodola, capturing the hard life of Slovak emigrants in the times of political and social oppression before the beginning of World War I. Young shepherd Ondrej Muranica flees the tyranny of Hungarian landowners to far away America. But a mining accident destroys his dreams and hopes of a better and fairer life. Ondrej suffers from amnesia and back home, he is pronounced dead. When he returns to his homeland years later, he learns that his wife had married his best friend.
