Synopsis
Prague 1967 – Tomáš (28) brings up his younger brother Pavel (16). He is not interested in politics himself and tries to keep his brother away from it too. Under unlikely circumstances, Tomáš is recruited as a technician for the pro-democracy Foreign Broadcasting Department of the Czechoslovak Radio, which is gaining more and more influence, and Tomáš becomes involved in a dangerous situation. The film looks at the small community born inside the broadcasting studios, which, through the microphone, changed society and lit up a country previously so grey, sad, and fearful. Moscow sends tanks to Prague to restore censorship and the old order.
