Synopsis
The young anthropologist arrives with her family in the Svalbard archipelago in order to study how life changes in the polar regions. After the initial falling in love with her new home she soon finds out that it’s not “only“ the icebergs and permafrost what is vanishing in the High Arctic. Zdenka inevitably has to face the question of how much she may allow herself to get involved in the local community that she was only supposed to observe.
