Synopsis
1941: Leo Kowal had sex. So he was sent to a concentration camp. He slept with a man – his colleague from the Slovak Nazi party. In a speculative narrative, a gay director enters into a paradoxical, one-sided dialogue with Leo, reimagining an identity split between fascist conviction and queer desire, reduced to Gestapo files left unsought. Through a kaleidoscope of AI generations, 3D animation, parodic pseudo-archival footage, thermal imaging, and voice performance, the film blends historical research with intimate reflection in telling the story of someone who was both a perpetrator and a victim.
