Synopsis
Dušan Hanák, a legend of Czechoslovak cinema, responds to the very questions he once asked the protagonists of his own films. This intimate documentary essay — composed of interview fragments, archival footage, and contemporary encounters — becomes a cinematic dialogue of the master with himself. A visually rich collage, the film is not only a portrait of the artist, but also a meditation on creativity, freedom, and aging. A story of life merging with art, and of art shaping the course of life.
