Synopsis
A portrait of DJ Kristyan Panchuk, known under the pseudonym Kika(MD), the founder of the Metanoia Underground collective, which organizes illegal techno raves in Chișinău. Kristyan embodies the contradictions of contemporary Moldova. The poorest country in Europe, historically referred to as the “land in between,” struggles to navigate between East and West, past and future. Through techno, Kristyan aspires to create a truly free space, emphasizing a musical and almost ecstatic experience.
