Synopsis
Jan, a district city paramedic, loses his wife in a tragic incident. She is murdered and Jan’s world collapses. Over time, he tries to accept his fate and start anew, however the erroneous judicial system fails to punish the culprit accordingly and Jan is unable to come to terms with the fact the murderer walked free. During the investigation, the situation gets even more complicated and it endangers Jan’s hope for a fair trial as well as wellbeing of his friends. He decides to take matters into his own hands and fight against the circumstances and the system itself. Not only does Shadowplay offer the genre film the audiences love but it also deals with the serious of issues of losing one’s closest.
