Synopsis
A trio of estranged elderly siblings embark on an unlikely journey through southern Slovakia to obtain their father’s death certificate and claim a financial compensation. On the way, they face various conflicts and come to know colourful figures who join their expedition. They reveal that their father had survived the war and settled abroad. In his widow’s gazebo, the mistakenly intoxicated siblings experience a state of altered consciousness and come to terms with their problems and mortality.
