Synopsis
A dramaturg is present during the writing of the screenplay, but does not write the film. A dramaturg is present during the shoot, but does not direct the film. A dramaturg sits in the editing room, but does not edit the film. A dramaturg is involved in many other aspects of film production as well, yet does not perform them. A dramaturg is therefore invisible. Such is also the life of the prominent Czechoslovak dramaturg Jan Gogola, who influenced countless stories throughout his life.
