Synopsis
Hlohovec. Among its streets once pulsed the life of a Jewish community, an integral part of the town’s growth. Merchants, craftsmen, teachers — people who shaped the face and soul of the city. Then came the years when names were erased from the records, houses were emptied and the streets became silent witnesses to fates no one could change. Persecution and violence struck Jewish people in every town across Slovakia. This film is about memory and about neighbors who are no longer here.
