Synopsis
Viki starts a new job at the department of material need of the welfare office and soon realizes how mentally demanding the job is. At her desk, people affected by poverty come and go. Through Viki, we observe how an inflexible system struggles to respond to their life situations. Viki increasingly finds herself in conflict with the bureaucratic apparatus and with her colleagues. Does the saying still hold true that “a society is only as strong as its weakest member”?
