Once again this year, the program of the International Film Festival Rotterdam (Jan 25 – Feb 4, 2024) featured several Slovak films. Slovak filmmakers are set to make a mark at the prestigious Clermont-Ferrand International Short Film Festival (2– 10 February 2024). Two remarkable short films from Slovakia, Cold and Dark by Peter Hošták and Criss Cross by Nina Rybárová and Tomáš Rybár, have been selected to participate in different competition sections, showcasing the diverse talent emerging from the Slovak film industry.
Slovak cinema will have a strong representation at this year’s 57th Karlovy Vary IFF (June 30 – July 8). The official programme features 12 Slovak films and five Slovak projects will be presented within industry days.
