Toman is a historical drama about Zdeněk Toman, the real-life conflicted person who headed the Department of Foreign Intelligence. He significantly influenced political developments in Czechoslovakia in 1945–1948, activities which substantially contributed to the Communist Party of Czechoslovakia seizing power in a coup in 1948.
