Synopsis
In the late 20th century, Slovak Himalayan mountaineering experienced some noted successes but also failures. Through the eyes of one generation of climbers, the documentary Addicted to Altitude shows the evolution of Slovak Himalayan mountaineering from the very first expeditions to the bold assaults on the world’s highest mountain.
