Synopsis
Chris Brunet has lived on Isle de Jean Charles, Louisiana, his entire life – as did his father, and his father before him. For nearly two hundred years, the Brunet family called this strip of land in the Gulf of Mexico home. But the island is disappearing. In a historic first, the federal government is relocating its last residents inland due to climate change. What does it mean to abandon the place that made you who you are?
